The very first Ariane 6 upper stage arrived at its testing site of Lampoldshausen two weeks ago after a meticulously organized journey by river and road across Germany which you can now follow in our video.
In the video, you will hear from Dr. Jens Laßmann (ArianeGroup’s Bremen Site Manager), our engineers Cornelia Lux and Max Reinhardt, Gerhard van der Wal (riverboat captain), Frank Sailer (transport manager, ArianeGroup Lampoldshausen), and Dr. Hansjörg Dittus (German Aerospace Center DLR).
