The personal data of journalists is collected via ePressPack and CISION by ArianeGroup and its subsidiaries for the following purposes:
This database is available to the press teams at ArianeGroup and its subsidiaries.
Categories of personal data processed are: last name, first name, work e-mail address, company name, and phone number (optional).

Personal data can be obtained directly from journalists (registrations, discussions, forms…) or from sources available to the public (media websites, business networks…).
Data are solely available to internal departments that handle communication and public relations, as well as service providers (i.e. ePressPack and CISION) working as GDPR suppliers. Data shall not be sold or otherwise provided to non-authorised third parties.
Data are kept as long as a given journalist is still working as a media professional, and for a maximum of three (3) years from the last contact with said journalist, or until the journalist exercises his/her right to oppose the use of his/her data, or to request its deletion.
A journalist may, at any time, unsubscribe from the mailing list and/or request the deletion of his/her data from the database of ArianeGroup and its subsidiaries.
In accordance with regulation UE 2016/679 regarding the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), journalists have the right to access, make corrections to, delete, oppose the use of, and limit the processing and portability of their data. All requests to exercise these rights may be sent to Data Protection Officers (DPO): DPO-France@ariane.group or DPO-Germany@ariane.group
If, after having contacted us, you feel that your rights have been infringed upon, you may lodge a complaint with the French Data Protection Authority: Commission nationale de l’informatique et des libertés (CNIL), either online or by mail.
