At Eurosatory 2026, ArianeGroup and Thales unveiled a new sovereign ballistic line-up for terrestrial long-range strike capabilities designed to address evolving operational requirements across the full spectrum of deep-strike missions.

At the core of this framework is B-Strike, a new line-up capability intended to support future operational and pre-strategic conventional strike missions while reinforcing Europe’s technological and industrial sovereignty in the field of advanced defence systems.

Drawing on decades of expertise in ballistic technologies, ArianeGroup is leveraging the know-how acquired through strategic programmes such as the French M51 ballistic missile. This heritage enables the company to contribute to the development of future conventional long-range strike solutions combining performance, reliability and operational adaptability.

The initiative also reflects a broader ambition: strengthening a sovereign European industrial framework capable of designing, producing and sustaining advanced ballistic systems tailored to a wide range of operational needs.

Presented alongside Thales and Soframe during Eurosatory 2026, the announcement highlights the value of complementary industrial expertise in supporting Europe’s defence readiness and strategic autonomy in an increasingly demanding security environment.

Through this collaboration, ArianeGroup continues to demonstrate its commitment to delivering cutting-edge defence technologies while contributing to the resilience and sovereignty of Europe’s defence ecosystem.
