The temperature is rising at the ArianeGroup shop, with a new collection of summer designs to commemorate Flight 253.
Our team takes great pleasure in designing an emblem for each Ariane flight, in keeping with the traditions of the aeronautics and aerospace community. We draw our inspiration and ideas from a variety of sources, ranging from historical emblems and space phenomena to particular “passengers” carried by our launchers, to make each emblem as unique as the flight it represents.
This summer, we wanted to celebrate our ardent enthusiasm for every launch, our passion for space, and our vibrant community of fans. The sun was therefore the ideal candidate to bring a festive glow to your wardrobe.
The emblem features the satellites onboard Flight 253, the BSat-4b and Galaxy 30 telecommunications satellites and the MEV-2 space tug, which are shown as three points in orbit around the launcher. A neat way to mark the first Ariane flight since the re-opening of the Guiana Space Center.
The Flight 253 capsule collection is now available from the ArianeGroup shop.
