Will you be the new star of the “Love On The Edge” remix EP with electro artists Pyramid and Yuksek? 05-26-2020 |  5 minutes

When the Ariane rocket turned 40 last December, we asked electro artist Pyramid – a musician with a passion for space – to rise to the occasion and produce a musical celebration in tribute to the remarkable talents behind this successful space adventure.

The result was the EP “Atmosphere”, which took us on an enthralling voyage through time and space. We loved it! And because we know so many of you loved it too, we want continue the journey with a remix album, featuring guest star Yuksek – and the winner of our contest!

Show us that love knows no bounds with your remix of “Love On The Edge”. Our judges’ winning pick will be included on our new “Love On The Edge” EP, which will be produced in limited-edition vinyl and released on streaming and download platforms.

The contest is open for submissions from 26 May to 22 June. You can send us your “Love On The Edge” remix at any point during that period:

• by e-mail to: arianeremix@sweetpunk.com
• by sharing via your social media accounts, using @ArianeGroup and the hashtag #ArianeRemix.

There are no specific stipulations or requirements, but here are a few recommendations for those of you who are relatively new to the remixing universe:

• GarageBand (for Mac)
• Soundation, Soundtrap, Audiotoo (directly on-line)

And for those of you who with a bit more experience:

• FL studio
• Ableton Live

The most important thing, though, is to choose the software that makes you most comfortable – and most creative!

We are so looking forward to hearing your own particular interpretation of “Love On The Edge” from Pyramid’s EP “Atmosphere”. Please remember: Entries will only be accepted if emailed to arianeremix@sweetpunk.com or shared on Facebook or Instagram with the tag @ArianeGroup and the hashtag #ArianeRemix.

The panel of judges, which includes Pyramid and Yuksek themselves, will rate all the submitted entries and pick a favorite. The winners’ sound will feature on the new remix EP alongside the two artists’ versions. The EP will be released on streaming and download platforms and as a limited edition collectors’ vinyl.

The winner will be announced here on our website and on our social media channels.

The “Love On The Edge” remix EP, including the winning track and a new remix by Yuksek, will be made available on Spotify.

In September, the winner will receive a collectors’ edition vinyl of the EP featuring their track.
