Marking another step towards liftoff of the next Ariane 6, Arianespace has announced the launch window for the upcoming mission, which will place 32 additional satellites into low Earth orbit for the Amazon Leo constellation.
Mission VA268 is scheduled for 28 April 2026, launching from Europe’s Spaceport in Kourou, French Guiana, within the following window:
– 04:51 – 05:39 (Washington, D.C.)
– 05:51 – 06:39 (Kourou)
– 08:51 – 09:39 (UTC)
– 10:51 – 11:39 (Berlin/Paris)
Ariane 64, the most powerful version of Ariane 6, will place 32 Amazon Leo satellites into low Earth orbit. Designated LE-02 by Amazon Leo, this mission is the second in a series of 18 launches that Ariane 6 will complete to deploy the Amazon Leo constellation.
Each launch is a further demonstration of Ariane 6’s reliability and its ability to deliver high-performance access to space.
Arianespace has also officially unveiled the VA268 Mission Patch and Boarding Pass, symbolising Ariane 6’s second mission on behalf of Amazon Leo.
