ArianeGroup at IAC 2022 in Paris

Under the banner of “Space for @ll“, this year’s IAC space congress brings together companies, organizations and space fans from around the world. As one of the main sponsors, ArianeGroup is making numerous contributions to the event.

The 73^rd International Astronautical Congress (IAC 2022) will take place from Sunday, 18 September to Thursday, 22 September at the Paris Convention Center (Porte de Versailles). On Wednesday, 21 September the show will be open to the public.

The congress, organized by the International Astronautical Federation (IAF), is an unmissable venue for all space players across the world. Over 250 exhibitors and 6,500 delegates are expected to participate. This year’s host is the French space agency, CNES. ArianeGroup is a main sponsor of the event, together with Lockheed Martin.

A 20-meter model of Ariane 6 has been erected in front of the exhibition entrance, an iconic emblem. The future flagship of European space presence points the way into the exhibition hall, where, right at the entrance, the ArianeGroup stand takes visitors on board for an exciting journey into space, depicting the future of space transport. The visitor will discover everything about Ariane 6 and its upcoming developments, future launchers, engines, and all sorts of missions.

Many experts from ArianeGroup will take part in panel discussions and in technical program presentations and debates. Among the topics highlighted, they will talk about diversity in space activities, Ariane 6, and the journey of the James Webb space telescope. The “Space for @ll” slogan is reflected in ArianeGroup’s teaming-up with artists and designers who will be talking about their own particular view of space, rockets, and exploration, and working with ArianeGroup.

The public day on Wednesday, 21 September will focus on space exploration. On the agenda: a virtual journey into space, and also some very real meetings with genuine astronauts and space experts.
