ArianeGroup’s Booster Award supports and promote the next generation of female scientists and engineers in STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) disciplines
We received many high-quality applications from female STEM students from all over Germany. The final selection has now been made.
The on-line award ceremony took place on October 14.
We are delighted to announce the joint winners of the 2021 Booster Award: Franziska Hild and Sarah Gelbing.
As well as applicants’ academic achievements and extra-curricular activities, the evaluation process also took into account the innovativeness and impact potential of the theses submitted, and the jury found Franziska and Sarah equally impressive in all categories. The two winners can look forward to a trip to see a rocket launch live at the European Spaceport in Kourou as well as individual mentoring programs with experts from ArianeGroup.
In addition to the two main award winners, our jury also had a special prize to announce: in recognition of her remarkable doctoral thesis Sabrina Wahler will also benefit from professional mentoring from an ArianeGroup specialist.
Our congratulations to the three winners and our warmest thanks to all applicants who have once again shown the amazing passion, talent and capacity for ideas of young women in STEM.
